Class Field Trips

826 Valencia
Legion of Honor
San Mateo County of History
Coyote Point Museum

Throughout the year we go on many wonderful field trips which help us extend our learning beyond the classroom.

826 Valencia

Our field trip to San Francisco's 826 Valencia is a fun and unbelievably engaging storytelling and bookmaking workshop. Students engage in the creative writing process of brainstorming characters, plot, setting, problem, and solution. This is a hit with students and parents alike!

San Mateo County History Museum

At the San Mateo County History Museum students are able to explore our local history. Multi-media exhibits bring the county history to life!

Coyote Point Museum and BBQ

June 11, 2009

Our last field trip of the year usually occurs the last week of school. Students and families congregate on the picnic grounds of Coyote Point for a fun-filled day! We barbeque, attend the Coyote Point Museum for Environmental Education, and play! This is a great way for us to say goodbye before we leave for summer break.
